Moorland Study #2 - 20cm x20cm - Acrylic on canvas
I have recently started experimenting with more texture in my paintings, here are a few current examples. Its a multilayer process and texture covers painting which is then covered by texture etc until I am happy with the result. There is a freedom and spontaneity to this method which draws me away from the tyranny of making it look like something specific.
