This is a personal reflection on the frailty of the human body and the inevitable decline programmed into our DNA. In contrast to this we have so many opportunities of love and pleasure and at times we transcend our physicality. The message of this painting is ultimately positive and on every viewing we are reminded to "seize the day"

Great way to exhibit a work online. It is really hard to get a good understanding of a painting from just a front cropped shot. I like the feeling of dread and awe from your work.
