Derby Open Entries

Its that time of the year already, Derby Open is an annual painting and sculpture competition. I have entered for the past three years, getting entries in the first and third years. Some people get in every year some people try for years without success.

Expensive Shot

I took this picture near Openwoodgate the other morning on the way to work, not long after I dropped my new compact camera down about three flights of stairs :-( It survived the fall except that the flash has stopped working. A tribute to the strength of the Panasonic Lumix brand! Have ordered another one this weekend. I'll be a bit more careful with this one.

Nice mist though :-)
